A new kitchen, the same heart.
DoggyBag began, like most good things do — in our kitchen, at home, for our dogs.
Fourteen years later, it’s hard not to feel a little nostalgic thinking about how far we’ve come.
When we both quit our jobs to do this full-time, the first step was simple but brave — get out of our kitchen and into a rented space. That move made us official. It gave us room to grow, to scale up, to pay closer attention to cleanliness, consistency, and quality control — all without ever compromising on what mattered most: feeding dogs food that’s as good as what we’d make for family.
Now, we’re ready for the next chapter.
DoggyBag is moving into a bigger, better space — a proper manufacturing kitchen designed to meet certification standards from governing bodies that can vouch for how our food is made. It’s a new milestone, and it marks our slow but steady climb toward our dream: to one day see fresh-cooked DoggyBag meals available on supermarket shelves, where every dog can have access to real, wholesome food.
What started in our home kitchen for two years, then thrived for twelve in our first rented space, is now becoming something larger. Not just in size — but in purpose. Because wanting the best for our dogs means always pushing ourselves to do better — to raise the bar, to reach more customers, and to keep our promise of quality and heart in every meal we make.
To all who’ve walked this journey with us — thank you. Every meal, every delivery, every “my dog loves it!” message has kept us going. We started with one pot on a home stove, and somehow, it’s led us here.
The dream hasn’t changed — only the kitchen has.
